Tender Description
The Hindmarsh Shire Council invites Tenders from Contractors for the Design and Construction of an E-Waste shed at the Dimboola Transfer Station, High Street, Dimboola VIC 3414
The scope of works for this Contract shall be in 2 phases. It includes, but not limited to:
PHASE 1: Planning & Design
* Provision of drawings and design calculations that satisfy Hindmarsh Shire Council requirements of a functional E-Waste shed at Nhill ((separate contract-Contract No. 2018-2019-11) and Dimboola Transfer Stations, respectively. The Planning and Design deliverables shall be based on preliminary briefs, drawings, sketches etc provided in this document and reviews that may follow during the design phase.
* Geotechnical investigation to determine critical design parameters for the building foundation.
* Acquisition of Building Permit. The contractor shall ensure the adequacy of the drawings and documents and pay required fees to obtain Building Permit
PHASE 2: Construction
* Construction of foundation and concrete slab
* Installation of steel sheds and roofing
* Electrical and fire protection works (provisional item)
* Other associated works to meet the requirements of a functional E-waste shed.
Tenderers are permitted to submit tenders for any of the two works or both. However, Tenderers who wish to bid for the two works are required to submit two separate tender packages with respective tender numbers clearly written on their sealed envelopes.
