Cleanaway Expression of Interest - Food & Garden Waste Treatment & Processing Solutions

⁠⁠⁠Cleanaway is Australia's leading recycling, waste management and industrial services company. We have a presence in every state and territory and service clients from in excess of 170 sites and depots, leveraging over 50 technical treatment and processing plants and more than 45 resource recovery, recycling and baling facilities across Australia.

Cleanaway is contracted until 2024 to provide Kerbside Collection Services to the Albury City Council and surrounding areas. As part of this arrangement Cleanaway is required to collect and process the Food and Garden Waste (FOGO) for Albury City, Wodonga City, Federation Council and the Indigo Shire Council. Currently the FOGO material is transported to a compost facility outside of the Albury Region.

The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to identify alternative, local solutions for the disposal, treatment or use of the Food and Garden Waste. As well as providing proven sustainability benefits, the solution must be limited to facilities located within, or provide tangible benefits to the local government areas of Albury City, Wodonga City, Federation Council, Indigo Shire Council and Greater Hume Council.

The Bidder must deliver the following documents to fulfil the requirements of this EOI:
1. An overview of the organisation submitting the EOI.
2. A document setting out the proposed solution.
3. A detailed project plan outlining the timeline to implement the proposed solution.
