Council is seeking tenders from suitabley qualified tendersfor the following two draining e works in Seymour, Victoria.
Anzac Avenue: Culvert installation work under Anzac Avenue near the intersection with Oak Street was carried out in 2012. The work was abandoned in the midway due to the detection of watermain in line with the proposed culvert.
Design for the watermain lowering and installation of remaining part of culvert and additional pits has been finalised recently. This tender includes installation of remaining part of culvert, existing watermian lowering in the median strip, installaion of pits, backfilling and rehabilitation of road etc.
Loco Street Loco Street has a history of flooding issues. Duplication of stormwater pipes, installation of pits with high inlet capacaties, water main lowering and other services relocation is part of this tender. This work is included in the tender as a provisional item.
