Tender Description
Hume City Council invites tenders for the Provision of Land Management Services for Hume City Council.
The Contract will run for one year, with the option of two, one-year extensions. Engagement as a Land Management Services contractor will not guarantee a quantifiable level of work. The amount of work available will be dependent upon works required, available budget and suitability of the contractor to fulfil the requirements of each job. Contractors will assist Council by undertaking on-ground works such as:
- Weed control
- Revegetation and rehabilitation
- Supply of indigenous plants
- Mulching and weed matting
- General site maintenance
- Minor tree pruning/removal
- Prescribed burning
- Fire prevention slashing
- Pest animal management
- Fencing (rabbit proof or general fencing)
- Erosion control
- Mapping.
