Trade Waste System Design and Development

⁠⁠⁠South East Water is seeking to appoint a qualified supplier to undertake the design and build of a new Trade Waste Management solution / application from design and development, build, test, to successful deployment, and on-going support.

Our current Trade Waste Information System (TWIS) was developed in-house in 1996, and is currently used to manage all trade waste functions and customers. TWIS is used to store contract records, calculate customer specific Risk Rank, manage correspondence, trade waste sampling data, co-ordinate and schedule works and inspections, monitor scheduled apparatus maintenance via ‘Wastelog’ system, manage non-compliance and track contract status.

The new solution would be expected to take advantage of the most current available technology to provide a higher level of automation and flexibility in order to deliver greater functional efficiency than TWIS.

Additionally, a new solution would be integrated with South East Water’s existing systems, primarily to support a single view of the customer whilst enabling reduction / elimination of data duplication through integration with other operational and asset management systems used for scheduling, monitoring and generations of relevant safety alerts and alarms.
