Tender Description
The purpose of this tender is to ensure that the Ballarat City Council has a Panel of Approved Providers for Public Pool Maintenance and Specialised Aquatic Services to carry out Minor Capital Works, Pool Renewal Projects and Pool Maintenance on Council Assets. The panel is open to both contractors and consultants.
The type of works would include but not limited to:
- Plant Room mechanical renewal / upgrades / maintenance;
- Pool basin repairs / maintenance;
- Pool plumbing / reticulation infrastructure upgrade and repairs;
- Investigation and reporting on structural integrity / efficiency of pool systems;
- Specialist Mechanical / Electrical services, aquatic environment temperature control, humidity monitoring, heat exchange plant serving pool water temperature control, VSD’s, BMS design engineering and commissioning etc.;
- Renewable Energy expertise including solar etc.
- Chlorine systems and generators;
- Supply/installation of specialised substrates;
- Specialised tiling, waterproofing etc.;
- Leak investigation & rectification;
- Any other applicable specialised services
Council requires Public Pool Maintenance, Specialised Aquatic Services Providers or other applicable contractors with the capacity, professional approach and technical ability to fulfil Council’s Building and Facility Management needs with a critical emphasis on quality, delivery and customer service.
Contractors who may specialise in one, multiple or all of the above services are welcome to provide a tender submission as council intend to appoint a panel covering a wide range of aquatic and pool services specialisms. Contractors are to clearly specify their particular areas of expertise in their submissions.
