Zoos Victoria seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the construction, fit out & delivery of Stage One (1) of the Koala Exhibit in Australian Trail at WORZ.
Australian Trail offers an interactive path with an open range, up close experiences with native Australian wildlife and flora designed to cater for the various ways visitors engage and experience wildlife and habitat. This exhibit has many native animals roaming free in this area therefore care is to be taken at all times entering and exiting the site, which acts as secondary containment to the main exhibit.
This exhibit will be developed in line with the 'connect, understand, act' visitor Trail, offering key experiences and interpretive media to engage visitors in this journey.
During the duration of construction, the Australian Trail section will operate as per norm to visitors. As a result, to minimise the disruption to animals and visitors, we request that the contractor provision to commence site activities no earlier than 8:30AM each day and conclude works by 4:30PM, available Monday through Sunday. This includes any deliveries and movement of plant. In addition, WORZ will provide the contractors the use of 200M of temporary fencing.
