Tender Description
The City of Kingston is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of a carpark both along Rowan Road Dingley Village and inside the netball sports facility to improve road safety and increase the number of parking spaces for the community.
The scope of works for this contract includes carpark construction and linemarking.
Refer to Section 1 of the specification for further details on:
* Part A - Earthworks to strip the top soil (Works By others)
* Part B - Carpark Construction (This Contract)
It is Council’s intention to award the contract during June 2018.
Works must start after the 15th October 2018 and must be completed no later than 7th December 2018.
Contractor must take ownership of the site no later than 1 week after excavation works part A have been completed by appointed excavation contractor, both contractor to liase with each other in order to have a smooth transfer of the site.
Principal Contractor
Council will be appointing the successful tenderer as the Principal Contractors and will be authorizing the Principal Contractor to manage or control the workplace to the extent necessary to discharge the duties of the Principal Contractor under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007.
