Hinchinbrook has been recognised as being on the forefront of flood planning in recent years and has invested heavily in up-to-date, reliable information about the nature and characteristics of this hazard. Hinchinbrook commissioned a flood and inundation zone web based App to provide relevant information to support the community in its decision making processes.
The relevant flood and inundation zone web based App needs to be supported with clear, easy-to-understand and informative infographics that graphically illustrate development within flood and inundation area. The purpose of this criteria is to create a more resilient and sustainable community and specifically to achieve certain outcomes.
