Tender Description
The grid cleaning project targets 38 primary and secondary outback roads sites.
The common methods identified by DPTI for cleaning includes; the Hydro jet and vacuum or a loader with fork attachment. However, alternative practical solutions to achieve the desired results will be taken into consideration.
The stock grids will vary in sizes across different sites. Once cleaned, the successful contractor is required to immediately carry out an inspection and report on the current structural condition of the grids to the Principal. This information will be utilised in the formulation of the current and future replacement strategy/program.
Due to geographic constraints, the contract will consist of packages of individual route, tenderers are invited to quote on the routes separately or the contract as a whole.
