Olver Grandstand Remediation Works (readvertised)

⁠⁠⁠Council hereby invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for Olver Grandstand remediation works.

Construction requires the implementation of various remediation works to the Olver Grandstand sub-seating framing. Tenderers shall ensure that they visit the site and inspect the existing structure to assess demolition, temporary works and any other items deemed necessary to complete the works. Generally, the works are to include:
* Removal of existing timber seating board in the region indicated on engineering drawings.
* Propping of existing end bay bearers and replacement of end wall framing on Grids A & J.
* Provision of stiffening sections to existing bearers on grids B & I
* Provide new stiffening blocks to all bearer to stringer locations as detailed on structural drawings.
* Provide new ‘in-fill’ polycarbonate sheeting to end walls and rear wall.
* Make good all existing stud wall framing (including masonry ties) to entire underside of grandstand seating region.
* Provide galvanised brick ventilation as shown on structural drawings.
* Provide new footings as shown on structural drawings.
* Provide paving slab to regions shown on structural drawings.
* Replacement of hardwood timber boards to the satisfaction of ARCC. Minimum area to be 24m².
* All incidental and associated works required to deliver the works.

All work shall be carried out to the satisfaction of the Superintendent and in accordance with:
* The Contract
* Relevant sections of Technical Advisory Note TN004-2017.
* Relevant Australian Standards
* EMS (Environmental Management System), OH&S and relevant Australian Standards, Legislation Regulations.

The Contractor shall be responsible for all labour, materials, plant hire, freight, fees and other sundry expenses required to complete the works.
