The purpose of this Pre-Tender Release Information Pack is to provide the market a high-level overview of the upcoming tender activity for the Contact Centre Telephony.

The scope of the Contact Centre Telephony solution will be to replace the functionality of the on-premise Contact Centre Telephony ICT environment only. The new hosted solution will provide additional functionality as required by the Contact Centre groups (refer section 5.2 of the Pre-Tender Release Information Pack) within Council. The business direction is to move to an ‘As a Service’ model and remove all equipment from Council Data Centres.

This document outlines the scope of the opportunity, proposed procurement process and anticipated procurement schedule.

Council’s intention with releasing this information pack prior to Christmas is only to inform the market of the upcoming opportunity in the new year. This is not a request for proposal, and Council is not expecting a response from the market at this stage.

Council encourages you to read this document in its entirety to contextualise the proposed upcoming tender. Council is hoping that there is enough content in this pack to help you with planning for this upcoming tender event.

Procurement timelines

Council will be releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) in the early 2018 for Contact Centre Telephony. The RFP will be released on Council’s Supplier Portal and will be open to the market to respond

The anticipated procurement schedule is planned as below:

Date of release to market: 10 January 2018

Tender closing date: 28 March 2018

Contract Award: 15 August 2018
