Tender Description
The City of Kingston is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the experienced Civil Construction Contractors for Kinross Avenue Drainage Upgrade, Edithvale - Stage 3 Pumping Station and Connection to Main Drain
The scope of works for this contract include the following:
* construction of a large stormwater drainage pipe and pits;
* construction of a deep stormwater pumping station;
* installation of pumps and a rising main;
* installation of a control panel and electricity and communications infrastructure; and
* construction of a shed over the pumping station.
It is Council’s intention to award the contract during February 2018. Works must be undertaken in accordance with the timeframes detailed under Section 3 of the Specification.
Council will be appointing the successful tenderer as the Principal Contractors and will be authorizing the Principal Contractor to manage or control the workplace to the extent necessary to discharge the duties of the Principal Contractor under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007.
