Information and Communication Technology Shared Services ERP Business Case Brief
Tender ID: 330193
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Councils of Corangamite Shire, Moyne Shire and Warrnambool City seek to complete a business case to assess the feasibility of integrating their core Information Technology and Communication (ICT) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions into a shared service model with the long-term objective of delivering corporate services more efficiently through innovative technology and services thereby eliminating duplication and repetition.
The participating Councils propose an integrated ERP model will deliver indirect financial benefits and more efficient use of technology. Savings achieved will allow delivery of improved service to the respective communities in the form of more accessible services through the provision of innovative technology and cloud based solutions. The Councils also propose “savings” will result in a reduction of administrative overhead costs and improved operating practices which will be achieved through productivity gains.
The participating Councils all use TechnologyOne as their ERP system although not all available modules are in use at all Councils. To determine whether an opportunity exists to benefit from this situation a business case for a possible shared service arrangement between the three Councils is required. Quotations are invited from suitably qualified contractors to assist with this task.
Quotations close at 4:00 pm on 26 October 2017.
