Summary of Specification
The following summary indicates the general nature of the Works for which Delta Electricity desires Tenders to be submitted and is issued to enable Contractors to make an assessment whether Specification documents should be obtained from Delta Electricity for the purpose of submitting a tender response. It does not form part of the Specification and should not be included as part of the Tenderer's offer.

Purpose of Work
The works required under this contract is for the supply of civil preventative and remedial service to Vales Point Power Station site for a two (2) year period.

Delta Electricity has an expectation that its Contractors will be undertaking continuous improvement leading to efficiencies that may be reflected in a contract extension. Upon successful Practical Completion of the works within this agreement and a review of the Contractor’s performance, a further agreement may be negotiated, at the discretion of Delta Electricity.

The extent of the work consists of four (4) elements which include the following:
a) Element 1 - Building and Civil Maintenance
Provide qualified staff as required, equipment and resources as per all requirements of the relevant codes, standards and referenced documents listed in this specification and provide all required materials to provide general site Building and Civil preventative and remedial maintenance services at site as directed;

b) Element 2 - Fencing Maintenance
Provide qualified staff as required, equipment and resources as per all requirements of the relevant codes, standards and referenced documents listed in this specification and provide all required materials to provide general site Fencing preventative and remedial maintenance services at site as directed;

c) Element 3 - Land Maintenance
Provide qualified staff as required, equipment and resources as per all requirements of the relevant codes, standards and referenced documents listed in this specification and provide all required materials to provide general site Land Management, Noxious Weed and asset protection zone works (APZ) preventative and remedial maintenance services at site as directed; and

d) Element 4 - Site Roads Maintenance
Provide qualified staff as required, equipment and resources as per all requirements of the relevant codes, standards and referenced documents listed in this specification and provide all required materials to provide general site Road Works preventative and remedial maintenance services at site as directed.

Tenders will close at 1.00pm on Tuesday the 10th October 2017 at Vales Point Power Station.
