Albury City Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a Tender for the Heavy Patching Contractor Panel for Council upon the conditions detailed in the RFT.
Scope:
Council requires services for the following areas:
Provision of plant, labour and supervision to undertake rectification of minor road pavement failures, varying in size from 5m2 and above.
Contractor will be required to;
- Provide plant suitable to undertake pavement stabilisation to 200mm depth, namely; skid steer with profiler, water cart for conditioning of pavement and roller.
- Provide plant suitable for the grading and preparation for sealing.
- Provide plant for the sealing of patches with 10/7 2-coat sprayed bitumen seal, namely; bitumen spray truck, spreader trucks and multi-tyre roller.
- Provide all materials required to undertake these works, namely; DGB20 (if required), cement (2% by weight), bitumen and aggregate.
- Provide all labour and supervision, suitably skilled in road pavement repairs and sealing.
- Provide traffic control, to the approval of AlburyCity council.
Council may, at its absolute discretion, in considering any Tenders submitted, establish a panel of firms that can be called upon to provide services to Council. If such panel is established, Council will determine whether or not any Tenderer who meets the qualifications or satisfies the Selection Criteria will be included on the Panel.
