Benalla Rural City Council invites tenders for a panel arrangement to provide short term Grader and Operatorcapacity and supporting water truck hire for the 2017/18 road works program. The tender period has the option to continue into 2018/19 subject to further Council budget deliberations for that year.
The tender calls for the provision of wet hire of a grader and when required water truck to support the increased capacity of the Council to improve local roads and maintain effective running surfaces within set standards.
The Contractor shall carry out the work of forming up, clearing drainage lines and finishing gravel roads under the guidance of Council staff.
The initial panel contract period will be for two months with four optional two month periods for extension at the discretion of the Council over the 2017/18 and 2018/19 years.
