Tender Description
Tenders are requested by Goulburn-Murray Water for the construction of the Southern Pipeline as part of the No. 9 Channel decommissioning works which forms part of the Swan Hill Modernisation Project (SHMP).
The SHMP is a special project within the GMW Connections Project which consists of a number of projects to modernise the irrigation network around Swan Hill. One of these projects is the replacement of the South Section of the No. 9 irrigation channel system that is situated in the urban area of Swan Hill. This section of the No. 9 channel system will be replaced by a pumped pipeline system and the channel and structures will be decommissioned. This work includes the installation of a 20ML/d pump station and the construction of a HDPE pipeline of approximately 4.6 kms ranging in diameter from 75 mm to 450 mm.
A compulsory tender briefing will be held at 13/19 Murlong Street, Swan Hill on Wednesday 6 September at 11.00 am. Site visits will follow the briefing.
The lowest cost tender or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
The Tender Closing Time is 2.00 pm (AEDST) on Friday 22nd September 2017. Tenders are to be submitted via the electronic tender box (see option below) to ensure tenders are accepted by the closing time.
