Construction of Soccer Pitches, Car Park, Landscaping & Assoc Works at Barton Reserve

⁠⁠⁠This contract relates to the Construction of Soccer Pitches, Car Park, Landscaping and Associated Works at Barton Reserve, Cranbourne West.

The Works comprise but are not limited to:
1. Provision for traffic management and protection of the Works;
2. Setting out of the Works;
3. Clearing and grubbing;
4. Earthworks including alterations to existing services;
5. Construction of concrete works, kerb and channel, drainage pits, footpath and and traffic islands;
6. Construction of a crushed rock flexible pavement including primerseal and asphalt courses;
7. Installation of stormwater drainage and AG drains;
8. Topsoiling and seeding of nature strips and disturbed areas;
9. Construction of perimeter fencing, gates & fencing including subsurface drainage system connecting to proposed pits around the oval;
10. Construction of 1 No synthetic cricket wicket pitch;
11. Floodlighting installation at the soccer pitches including design & construction of all footings;
12. Construction of 3 Nos. enclosed practice cricket nets;
13. Installation of 6 Nos. coaches boxes;
14. Construction of drainage system including drainage pipes and pits;
15. Construction of car parking, drainage, signage and lightings;
16. Supply and installation of signage and pavement marking.;
17. Installation of key services to the reserve e.g. electricity, telecommunication, gas, water and sewerage;
18. Installation of sportsground furniture and associated works;
19. To allow for temporary chain link/wired protection fencing surrounding the oval in the case where there are no construction activities for the oval;
20. To allow for maintenance e.g. clearing of vegetation/weeds, dewatering, removal of unsuitable topsoil or covers etc. of oval if the site has left unattended to a reasonable length of time in between earthworks and installation of synthetic surface. Contactor to allow in the lump sum price.

A key objective of this project is to complete all works within 45 weeks (civil works-17/18), 12 weeks (Landscaping works-18/19)
