Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for T23-17 to undertake specified UPSS works at nominated sites in separable portions as follows:
Separable Portion A - 3B Carinya Road - UPSS Removal, Disposal & Site Restoration Works
The Scope of works for the removal of three (3) tanks generally includes but is not limited to:
* Site Setup.
* Pump out of tank liquids, washout three tanks and dispose of waste out water.
* Dispose of concrete tank anchors and tank shells.
* Excavate soil and stockpile.
* Provide soil testing.
* Place and compact non contaminated soil back into excavated pit
* Remove and dispose of any contaminated material
* Import sand, road base material (DGS20) and compact to required level.
* Place 40m2 of AC10 30mm thick
* Provide Validation Report
Separable Portion B - 27-35 Leslie Street Depot - UPSS Removal, Disposal & Replacement Works
The Scope of works for the decommissioning and installation of one (1) new tank generally includes but is not limited to:
* Site Preliminary Works
* De-commissioning of Existing Underground Tanks
* Site Excavation for new underground Tank
* Installation of a single, three compartment (10,000 / 3,000 / 20,000 litre) fiberglass tank
* Installation of in tank pumps and plastic piping specific for each fuel product
* Installation of new fuel bowsers
* Trench Backfill and Reinstatement
* Installation of new electrical systems and interconnection to existing Jigsaw Fuel System
* Upgrading of existing surface water runoff collection pit, to a best practice retention, monitoring and pumping system
* Commissioning and Testing with Turn Key handover of full documentation and approvals
