This specification is for the construction of flood levee located on existing unused road alignment along Williams Rd, to the east of Landrigan Rd, Carisbrook.The work is located within the Central Goldfields Shire. VicRoads Map Reference Map 58, E3
SCOPE OF WORKS
Works include constructing an earth levee from Landrigan Rd for approx. 550m in length in accordance with this specification & the design plan, which includes the following
* Site establishment
* Traffic management (including VicRoads MOA for access up to Landrigan Rd)
* Geotechnical testing
* Earth levee construction
* Top soiling
* Crest capping layer construction
* Incidental and associated works
* The contractor shall supply all plant and materials required to complete the works.
* The contractor shall be responsible for implementing and maintaining all traffic and pedestrian management as required to complete the works, which shall be in accordance with AS1742.3.
* A pre-commencement site meeting shall be held between the contractor and the Project Supervisor to discuss:
* Specific sequence of works.
* Safety requirements and procedures associated with the task.
