Tender Description
Moira Shire Council invites submissions from suitably qualified contractors for the upgrade of the intersection of Moran Street and Picola North Road, Picola in accordance with the accompanying plans.
The works include:
* Site establishment
* Location of services
* Demolition in accordance with plans
* Supply and installation of drainage pipes
* Construction of drainage pits
* Construction of new kerb and channel and pram crossings
* Supply and compaction of granitic sand infill
* Construction of new reinforced concrete splitter islands
* Construction of pavement widening
* Bitumen spray sealing of new pavement
* Supply and installation of miscellaneous road signage and markings
* Cleanup and tidy site
* Site di-establishment
The intersection will continue to be used throughout the contract period.
Information
The specification can be found under the tender details tab. Council have recently converted to an online tendering system (TenderSearch), which means the specification no longer contains any schedules for manual completion. All schedules are now in an electronic format and are referred to as online forms.
