Warrnambool WRP Decanter Centrifuge Installation Works

⁠⁠⁠The Scope of Works is as follows:
* Decommissioning, demolition works and off-site disposal of the existing TEMA Belt Filter Press (BFP) and associated redundant equipment including electrical cables and switchboard components;
* Removal of existing concrete washwater holding tank and bund walls underneath the TEMA BFP and levelling of the concrete floor.

Removal of redundant washwater pumps and capping of redundant pipework and conduits.
* Removal of redundant existing electrical conduits underneath the concrete floor slab and relocation if required.
* Construction of concrete plinths supports and footings, fabrication of a steel support frame and base plate for centrifuge unit;
* Moving and craning of centrifuge unit from Goodall Engineering (22 Walsh Road, Warrnambool) to final onsite location and mechanical installation of the centrifuge unit;
* All civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and all other interface connections and ancillary works associated with the decanter centrifuge system;
* Installation and commissioning of a new polymer batching and dosing system, including all necessary interface connections and design of small diameter pipework;
* Modifications to the washwater and WAS feed pipework to connect them to the centrifuge;
* Design, supply and installation of a dewatered sludge collection conveyor (shaftless screw type) from the centrifuge unit, including modification of the existing Spirac conveyor 'CV-01' to create a side feed in connection from the centrifuge sludge collection conveyor;
* Supply and installation of 2 No. sludge spreading conveyors (shaftless screw type) to distribute sludge into the receiving truck trailers (Provisional item);
* Fabrication and installation of access platforms for the centrifuge;
* Testing and commissioning of these works (in conjunction with the Supply Contractor);
* Design documentation for the works.
* Detailed construction methodology and sequencing of works.
* Design, supply, installation and commissioning of electrical power, instrumentation and control systems for centrifuge works.

Tenderers are invited to attend a joint inspection, preliminary scheduled for Wednesday 19th April at 11:00 am. Tenderers are to advise Mr Brendan Thian of Wannon Water, on telephone on (03) 5565 6603 a minimum of 48 hours prior, in order to attend the joint inspection.
