Tender Description
The Tender is to prepare a short list of Council's preferred contractors that will be engaged in performing minor works up to a value of $20,000 (inc GST).
Contractors that should apply include, but are not limited to, those who provide the following services:-
1.Air conditioning services
2. Arborist/tree removal/stump grinding
3. Automatic door maintenance
4. Asbestos identification reports and demolition
5. Brick/block layers
6. Carpenters
7. Cleaners
8. Communications and data services
9. Concreters
10. Electricians (including industrial)
11. Event hire services
12. Fencers
13. Fire Maintenance
14. Floor Cleaning (Carpet dry cleaning)
15. Floor Covering Installers
16. Glaziers
17. Gardening / Landscaping
18. Information Tech.
19. Irrigation
20. Landscapers
21. Lift Maintenance
22. Locksmiths
23. Metal fabricators (including stainless steel)
24. Painters
25. Plasterers
26. Plumbers/gas fitters
27. Trade waste plumbing
28. Security installers
29. Registered Surveyors
30. Weed Spraying
31. Utility Locaters
32. Other
The Tender needs to outline all types of general maintenance services that contractors can provide, as per the above list. Services not specified on this list should be classified as 'Other', and the nature of these services clearly outlined in the contractor's submission.
Services able to be provided can, where applicable, be for several of the areas listed above, or one of the areas listed and/or other areas not listed. Hourly rates, including overtime rates, should be provided for tradesperson, apprentices and labourers and will not be subject to Rise and Fall adjustments.
The Preferred Contractor List will be for a period of 12 months.
