University of Canberra (UC) is a public university located on 118 hectares in Bruce, a north-western suburb of Canberra within easy reach of shopping and entertainment venues in the Belconnen Town Centre and the Civic Centre. UC aims to be amongst the world's leading universities in research, teaching and learning for responsible public administration and services.
The purpose of the RFT is to seek submissions from suitably qualified construction works contractors who have experience working in a live tertiary research environment, or similar, where the works include demolition activities and alteration to existing engineering services that must maintain continuous building operations at all times.
The first stage in the refurbishment is to provide a modern facility that will enable the continuation of high quality and highly cited research for the Education, Science, Technology & Maths (ESTeM) and the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE) business units.
This RFT may not result in the awarding of a contract.
