Hume City Council (“Council”) invites (“expressions of interest (“EOIs”) from suitably qualified and experienced Building Contractors for the Construction of Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre - Warm Water Pool.
Works will include redevelopment, alterations and additions in accordance with this Request for Expressions of Interest.
The Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre is located at 20 Ligar Street, Sunbury 3429.
Preliminary measurements suggest an FECA of 590sqm.
The Warm Water Pool will form a new pivotal stage in the redevelopment of the Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre with the new 15m x 12m pool providing a dedicated space for the community to participate in leisure activities that assist their health and wellbeing.
The Warm Water Pool will facilitate opportunities for rehabilitation, learn-to-swim classes and support recovery for local sporting clubs and negate the need for the local community to have to travel outside of Sunbury to be able to do all these activities.
