Tender Description
The City of Greater Dandenong (“Council”) is seeking suitably qualified consultants to provide design and documentation services for the construction of a multi purpose indoor training centre at Shepley Oval in Dandenong Park, Dandenong.
The project will be undertaken in two main stages:
1. Concept Planning
The appointed architect will be required to develop various concept options in consultation with Council and key stakeholders, using the previously developed sketch plan and feasibility study as a basis for this work. The preferred concept plan will need to be presented to Council for endorsement. (NB: Council may decide not to proceed with the design development of the proposed Centre at this stage – marking the end of the project.)
2. Design Development
The design development phase will be subject to the outcome of the Concept Planning phase. Pending Council approval, the appointed architect and consultant team will be required to prepare design development and documentation services for the selected concept design. Services shall include architectural, interior design, structural, quantity surveying, acoustic, mechanical / electrical and hydraulic services, plus re-instatement / landscaping of the immediate surrounds.
