The University of Wollongong (UOW) has become a benchmark for Australia's new generation of universities. It is highly ranked among the best modern universities globally and has built a reputation as an enterprising institution with a multi-disciplinary approach to research and teaching across a broad range of disciplines. UOW is seeking to create a vibrant, community and research "Health and Wellbeing Precinct" as part of its Innovation Campus.
The Precinct is located at the southern end of the Innovation Campus, and will be an interconnected environment with integrated aged care, healthcare and research facilities as well as retail, child care and commercial office space that will contribute to advanced health and wellbeing outcomes for the people of the Illawarra.
Capital Insight, on behalf of UOW, invites suitable Partner(s) to develop and operate the Precinct and to bring this vision to reality. The Partner(s) will need to understand the University's development goals and bring a track record of previous success in developing and operating similar projects.
UOW proposes to provide ground leases to the Partner(s), with the Partner(s) contribution to include: finance, design, build, maintain and operate roles in the developments, consistent with UOW's strategic goals, commercial returns and timeline.
