Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Hume City Council recognises the need for high quality community facilities at Lakeside Drive, Roxburgh Park. In 2003/04 two new cricket and AFL football grounds were constructed to meet the growing demand for sportsgrounds in Roxburgh Park. The Roxburgh Park site is the home of the Roxburgh Park Football Club (winter season) and the Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club (summer season).

The Roxburgh Park Football Club is affiliated with the Essendon District Football League and currently fields 4 senior (3 male / 1 female) and 8 junior (5 male / 1 female / 2 development) teams in various age groups.

The Roxburgh Park Broadmeadows Cricket Club is affiliated in both the Victorian Turf Wicket Cricket Association (VTCA) and the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association (NWMCA) and currently field 3 senior (3 male) and 9 junior (8 male / 1 development) teams in various age groups.

The development of the new social pavilion will add valuable new recreation components and social interaction opportunities to this already popular site of the two sporting clubs.
