Tender Description
The Contractor will be required to plan, manage and deliver the following event:
Destination NSW Exclusive Buyer & NSW Seller Event will be held on Tuesday 16 May 2017 from 1830 to 2030 (sharp)
* The event style/format is to be cocktail and will be two (2) hours in duration
* Minimum spend $150 per head on food and beverage
* Budget for this event is approximately $800,000 (ex GST)
* Numbers will be between 1100 to 1300 pax
* Transfers required from ICC to venue and then from the venue to delegate hotels. Venue should be in close proximity to the ICC and CBD hotels. Transfers will commence from 6pm
* Theming and entertainment: - ideas include coastal and aquatic, showcasing NSW food and wine (and Chefs/Producers)
* Entertainment to include talent from the Sony Music Australia roster and fireworks (TBC). As noted below, entertainment and fireworks are to be sourced by Destination NSW and then managed and executed by the Event Manager.
In particular, Destination NSW requires the followings Services:
1) Leadership, Strategic Planning and Meetings
2) Event Management
3) Reporting and Reviewing
4) Budgeting and Costs
5) Risk Management
6) Tendering and Contracts
7) Other.
It is requested in putting in an application that due consideration is paid to these headings and the associated requirements.
Destination NSW will:
a) Communicate event details to delegates.
b) Source entertainment including fireworks and talent. Event Management company will manage and execute.
c) Manage volunteers (if applicable).
