Lease of the Warringah Aquatic Centre (WAC) Cafe

⁠⁠⁠Northern Beaches Council Tender RFT 2016 092 Lease of the Warringah Aquatic Centre (WAC) Cafe

Council is seeking submissions from tenderers for the lease of the WAC cafe. Council will enter into a lease agreement with the successful tenderer for a term of five (5) years with a further five (5) year option to extend.

The cafe is to cater to the general public and enhance the public use of the WAC without becoming the main focus of the WAC. The reserve's public purpose and environmental qualities are to be preserved.

Hours of Operation:
The cafe hours are structured to be open as following:
Minimum required hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
Weekends and Public Holidays: 8am to 5pm
Note: the Aquatic Centre will inform the cafe operator of significant events and bookings.
Preferred Hours for weekdays:
7am to 8pm
Note: Any additional hours are at the discretion of the successful tenderer

Warringah Aquatic Centre is open to the public at the following hours:
Indoor Poo
Monday to Friday: 5.30am to 9pm (squad training commences at 5am)
Weekends and Public Holidays: 7am to 6pm
Closed: Christmas Day and Good Friday
Outdoor Pool
Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm
Weekends and Public Holidays: 9am to 5pm
Closed: Christmas Day and Good Friday

Note: Outdoor pools are currently closed during the winter season (April/May to September) and may be open or closed at the discretion of the Shift Manager on duty. Outdoor areas are still accessible all year round.
