Expressions of Interest for Commercial Opportunities at One of its Premium Sites in Bradfield Park, Milsons Point

⁠⁠⁠North Sydney Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for commercial opportunities at one of its premium sites in Bradfield Park, Milsons Point. The northern part of the building located in the middle of Bradfield Park at 41 Alfred Street South was recently vacated by the Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre who operated community based activities from the building. The southern half of the building is currently leased to an Italian Restaurant (La Capannina).

Set within the heart of Bradfield Park, which overlooks the magnificent views of Sydney Harbour and its iconic Harbour Bridge, the area is an established haven for local business and residents of North Sydney, as well as for tourists from around the world.

The premises are also located a short distance from the historic North Sydney Olympic Pool, Luna Park and is only a 200m walk from the Milsons Point train station and Ferry Wharf. The park also hosts the monthly Kirribilli markets and prides itself as a local community as well as an international tourist destination.

The premises being offered by Council have the potential of being transformed into any number of unique commercial opportunities that would best serve the local community of North Sydney and all those who visit or work in the area.

Commercial activities that are permissible with consent within the RE1 (Public Recreation) Zone includes:
1. Environmental facilities
2. Information and education facilities
3. Kiosks
4. Recreation areas
5. Recreation facilities (outdoor)
6. Restaurants or Cafes
7. Water recreation structures

The Expression of Interest will be advertised in the Mosman Daily on 4 August 2016.
