Contract 515T - Road Reconstruction of The Avenue (De Carle St to Barrow St) and The Grove (Sydney Rd to Barrow St), Coburg.
Moreland City Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors to undertake Road Reconstruction of The Avenue (De Carle St to Barrow St) and The Grove (Sydney Rd to Barrow St), Coburg.
Part A works are associated with The Avenue and Part B works are associated with The Grove.
Council reserves its absolute right to award Part A and Part B works to two separate contractors, or award both Part A and Part B works to one contractor and to be detailed as Part C. The basis of the decision to award shall be (not in any order):
* Project cost and savings
* Project time
* Risk
* Complexity of Works
The project overall involves the reconstruction of approximately 1435m bluestone kerb & channel, 927m of drainage work 150mm to 600mm did RC pipes, 652 Tonne of stone mastic asphalt wearing course.
Service levels are to be provided by the Contractor in accordance with 'Best Value" aimed at achieving an environmentally responsible, safe and cost effective outcome for Council.
