MMRA is seeking to engage a suitably experienced Contractor for the development and facilitation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Awareness Training delivered face to face in-house over a period of up to one working day. The Initial Term of the engagement will be one (1) year. MMRA may by giving notice to the Contractor no later than 10 Business Days, prior to the end of the Initial Term, extend the Term for the period of one (1) year.
The delivery of these services will assist in strongly positioning MMRA in developing an understanding of the Aboriginal culture. This understanding is imperative for the successful employment, development and ongoing retention of our First Peoples. The training program will develop awareness and will focus on applying intercultural communication and practices for effective interaction.
