Kingston City Council is seeking tenders from experienced Civil Construction Contractors or similar organizations that have been involved with sportsfield drainage, irrigation work and sportsfield construction to install subsurface drainage, an automatic irrigation system and intensively renovate the No. 2-3 Grounds at Chadwick Reserve. An automatic irrigation system will also be installed in the No. 1 Ground at Chadwick Reserve.
The work involves the following:
* Install a subsurface drainage system in the No. 2-3 Grounds.
* Install a new automatic pop-up irrigation system together with a pump and storage tank in both grounds.
* Intensively renovate the playing surface on the No. 2-3 Grounds to improve the turf cover and surface levels, including scarifying, topdressing, oversowing and fertilising.
Please note that due to sporting club commitments, the site will not be available to undertake the works prior to October. Therefore the contractor shall ensure that works commence on the site on 3rd of October and that the works on this sportsfield are completed by no later than 2nd of December.
