Preparation of Feasibility Study-Multi-use Indoor Sports Stadium, Horsham

⁠⁠⁠Horsham Rural City Council is seeking to engage an appropriately qualified consultant to prepare a study to determine the feasibility of a multi-use sports stadium in Horsham.

The consultant will need to determine the feasibility of a multi-sports stadium that can meet the needs of users and provide a facility that caters for regional scale activities and develop the functional requirements of a multi-sports stadium. This will involve collating existing information from previous works, current users and state sporting associations, validation of work and provide reports regarding the outcome of the data and the need for a multi sports facility.

This project is phase one of a larger project. Phase 2a and Phase 2b are not part of this brief but the outputs of phase one must provide sufficient information for phase two to be undertaken.

The successful tenderer for Phase A will be invited to tender for Phase 2 A and 2 B through an open tender process but will not automatically gain preferred tenderer status.

Short listed applicants will be required to attend an interview in Horsham during early August 2016.

The study must be completed by 30 September 2016.

Council has a budget between $25,000 and $30,000 (plus GST) to complete Phase A of this project.

Tenders close at 12 Noon Monday 25 JULY 2016.
