Provision of Internal Audit Services

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this Contract is for Council to engage the services of a suitably qualified Contractor for the provision of internal audit services.

Council requires the Contractor to develop and undertake a risk based three year audit plan. It is expected that this will necessarily involve auditors in reviewing the:

Outcomes of the previous audit programs and resulting management actions
Undertake an initial risk assessment of Council's major risks
Based on those risk assessments and Council's risk register, develop an internal audit program in conjunction with executive management, to be conducted over three years, for approval of the Audit and Risk Management Committee
