Request for Tender - River Health Operations Services

⁠⁠⁠The North East Catchment Management Authority is on oCcasion, required to hire plant from private and public operators for use on Waterway Management projects throughout the North East region. The North East Catchment is comprised of four sub-catchments: Ovens, King and Black Dog Creek; Upper Murray and Mitta Mitta; Omeo and Benambra district; and Wodonga, Kiewa and Indigo.

The Authority intends to establish a panel of contractors based on a schedule of rates and the conditions outlined in the tender documents, for the supply of plant and equipment to deliver river health operational projects across the region. Contractors and owners of earthmoving and construction plant are invited to submit a tender to supply one or more of the required items of plant and accessories detailed in the specification for one or all of the sub-catchment areas listed above for the period of the contract.

Please note that this contract excludes the Mitta Mitta River and its tributaries from the dam wall of Lake Dartmouth to the high water mark of the Hume Weir.

Selection criteria for selection will be based on Management Systems (particularly Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Systems), Experience and Track Record, Suitability/Availability of plant and Price. Contractors shall be able to demonstrate previous experience in waterway management works and demonstrate the versatility of the quality machinery on offer to quickly and effectively complete a wide range of tasks.
