Tender Description
Deakin University seek Expressions of Interest from contractors for the construction of a new Dark Room at our Geelong Waterfront Campus.
The works comprise demolition and fit out of approximately 80m2 of space within building AD on level 1 and can broadly be described as;
* Demolition of existing doors, partitions, ceilings and redundant services
* Installation of new services
* Construction of new Fit out Works
* Commissioning, cleaning and handover of completed works
A shortlist of selected contractors will be determined from the responses to this Expression of Interest. Tender documents will be provided to the shortlisted tenderers via Tenderlink on 19/04/2016 with submission required on 03/05/2016. It is intended that the works will be delivered as a firm lump sum contract.
Based upon a contract award by 13/05/2016, the works are required to be completed and handed over by 01/07/2016. Commitment to this programme is paramount and will be a pre-condition of being shortlisted.
Interested parties are required to respond to this Expression of Interest in simple letter form of no more than 3 pages providing the following information:
* 3 recently completed projects of similar scale and nature with Client / Architect contacts for each
* Proposed project resources (Project Manager, Site Manager)
* A commitment that if the contractor is shortlisted they will submit a tender on the due date.
