Woodend IWMP & Toolern Vale Agricultural Precinct Feasibility Assessment

⁠⁠⁠Western Water is seeking proposals for assistance with the Woodend Integrated Water Management Plan (IWMP) and the feasibility of the Toolern Vale Agricultural Precinct.

The aim of this study will confirm the feasibility of the proposed Toolern Vale Agricultural Precinct and/or other agricultural recycled water demands available to the Sunbury recycled water plant. This will be determined through a market analysis, willingness to pay and land capability assessment to assess future expected recycled water demands and balancing storage requirements/ locations within the region.

The Woodend Integrated Water Management Plan should deliver a staged work program to manage excess recycled water from the Woodend RWP in up to a 90th percentile wet year whilst achieving the outcomes of Western Water's Integrated Water Management Plan of optimising potable water supplies (through substitution where feasible), improving waterway health, liveability outcomes and economic prosperity.
