Tender Description
The City of Greater Geelong invites tenders closing 2.00 pm on Wednesday 13 April 2016 from civil contractors to undertake the construction of a new car park to be located at 137-149 Mercer Street.
The Car Park includes the provision of up to 103 parking spaces and includes drainage works together with landscaping, irrigation and electrical works associated with the provision of necessary lighting.
Please be advised that Council will conduct a mandatory site inspection at 10.30am Thursday 31st March 2016. Prospective tenderers must attend this site inspection. Access to the site will be from 20 Gheringhap Street. Please note PPE (Hard Hats, High Viz Vests and Safety Boots required and tenderers are to supply their own.
Failure of a tenderer to attend will result in their tender being excluded as a non-conforming tender (refer Tender Condition 3.4).
Council representatives will be present to discuss details regarding the project and the tender process.
