Tender Description
The due diligence consultant will play a vital role in assessing the validity of BTF applicants. AusIndustry officers will also play a role in the assessment of applications. The role of the due diligence consultant is to:
* Conduct detailed due diligence on selected applicants, their key staff, the proposed business model and the nominated investors;
* Identify issues for clarification for Innovation Australia prior to and during the BTF applicant interviews;
* Assist on any technical issues and advise Innovation Australia during the final decision workshop ; and
* Be able to undertake the service without any conflicts of interest.
The contractor will independently assess the applicants’ management team skills and capabilities, the proposed investment strategy and fund structure and analysis of the investor support. The due diligence process will include interviews and checks on claims to provide an assessment of the claims of each applicant.
