Tender Description
Parramatta City Council is the owner of the 5 Parramatta Square development site and is currently progressing with an architectural design competition for the redevelopment of the site to house the key functions of Council's customer service activities, central library branch, Council's chambers, cultural facility, a new Smart City Command Centre and include the adaptive re-use of the existing Town Hall, whilst the basement will house car parking and offer connectivity to the integrated precinct basement service level across Parramatta Square.
Tenders are invited from licensed, qualified and suitably experienced contractors to undertake the: (Stage 1) Removal of Hazardous Materials, Building Salvage Works and Demolition of Building Structures Works; (Stage 2) Detailed Excavation Works; and (Stage 3) Archaeological and Heritage Salvage Works at 2 Civic Place and 184 Church Street, Parramatta NSW 2150 for Parramatta City Council.
The Tender price is made up fixed sums and a schedule of rates.
Note, there will be two (2) site inspections held on Tuesday 15 March 2016 and Thursday 17 March 2016, commencing at 10.00 am, meeting a Council representative at Parramatta Town Hall, 182 Church Street, Parramatta. Attendance at one (1) site inspection is compulsory.
A decision will be made on this Tender by mid-May 2016.
