Hume City Council (“Council”) invites (“expressions of interest (“EOIs”) for the Streetscape and Fountain Upgrade Works - O'Shanassy Street, West Side, between Brook Street and Station Street, Sunbury in accordance with this Request for Expressions of Interest.
The drawing provides the scope of works which include:
* Site demolition including removal of existing brick paving and other redundant surface materials
* Construction of kerb and channel, drainage and pavement works
* Installation of underground electrical conduits and pedestrian lighting
* Construction of pedestrian pavements, including granite pavers, asphalt surface and exposed concrete aggregate
* Installation of street furniture including seats, bins and bicycle racks.
* Upgrade of existing fountain and surrounding area on the northeast corner of O’Shanassy Street and Brook Street including electrical and plumbing works

Award contract 14 June 2016
Start Construction 4 July 2016
Complete construction 11 November 2016
The contractor will be required to undertake the works within the set construction period of 19 weeks, as shown above.
Respondents must submit EOIs in the manner required by this Request for Expressions of Interest.
