DELWP has a requirement to supply hoses and hose accessories to operational members of the Department and its partners. This requirement applies both during fire season and outside of fire season. The response expected of the Department by the community is that of any other emergency service and this obligation extends to the Department’s suppliers.
* Day to day requirements

The provision of hoses and hose accessories is necessary to protect the health and safety of workers and the community on a daily basis.
* Emergency Requirements

The Contractor, or contractors, selected must have the resources and the ability to access sufficient stock both during and outside of the fire season and for an ‘all Hazards’ emergency response when requested by the Department. Further, out of business hours response may also be required.

Tenders close at 2.00pm on Thursday 24/03/2016.

When arranging lodgement of tenders be aware that DELWP does not issue receipts.

Facsimile, e-mail or late tenders will not be accepted.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

There is a non-mandatory Tender Briefing at the Altona North Depot, 71 - 79 Kyle Road, Altona North, 3025 at 15.00 on Monday 07.03.2016 in the Conference Room.
