Supply and Install a Removable Pool Floor to the existing 25m Indoor Pool at Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre

⁠⁠⁠The scope of works to be provided includes the design, documentation, compliance, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, engineer approval, handover and guarantee of the Removable Pool Floor including;
* Compliance with the project program as agreed with Council including milestone dates for the manufacture, delivery, installation and completion of the project.
* All site measurements to ensure that the floor fits within the existing structure.
* Co-ordination with the pool operators throughout the entire installation phase of the work.
* Preparation of shop drawings.
* Submission of samples, colour selections, data submissions and technical schedules.
* Submission of insurance certificates.
* Supply and installation of colour matched FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) Removable Pool Floor including removable barriers located within the existing pool as detailed on the drawings associated with this specification.
* The pool floor shall be provided with a bare foot Class C slip resistance surface finish in accordance with AS4586.
* All openings, gaps and orifices shall be less than 8mm or greater than 20mm; that is permissible openings shall range from 1mm to 7mm and greater than 20mm. Openings from 8mm to 20mm are not permitted.
* All pool signage shall be modified to reflect the change in pool profile.
* Preparation of Occupational Health and Safety plans as required by Council.
* Delivery and installation of the pool floor in position without emptying the existing pool.
* Barricading and temporary signage during construction as required.
* Installation Manual including procedure to remove the pool floor if necessary.
* Provision of all warranties and guarantees as required by this specification.

The removable floor shall cover the shallow end of the existing 25m pool and be approximately 12m x 12m with the finished floor providing a water depth of 1000mm.

The transition from 1000mm to 1300mm depth shall be achieved by 2 steps extending across the full width of the pool.
