Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Asset Management/Maintenance Management System.
DNRM have identified the need for an Asset Management/Maintenance Management System that includes an asbestos maintenance component.
DNRM have a Commonwealth and State Legislation requirement and duty-of-care responsibilities in the workplace to meet statutory requirements in the management of asbestos in buildings and other assets. As part of the investigation into their current Asbestos management systems, Accommodation Services DNRM reviewed existing policies and process. This review identified potential gaps in their current asset/maintenance management systems.
As a result of this gap analysis, Accommodation Services DNRM determined the need for a functional solution to better manage their asset management requirements and responsibilities. It is hoped that an Asset/Maintenance Management solution will allow a more focused and streamlined approach to Asset/Maintenance Management within Department and across the Corporate Cluster.
