Tender Description
Moreland City Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors to provide refurbishment works to Temple Park Senior Citizens Centre.
The works consist of:
1. Modify wall positions and construct new All Access Toilet
2. Remove existing ramp and construct new All Access ramp with AS1428 compliant handrails. Replace door and modify handle positions.
3. Install new masonry articulation
4. Remove damaged masonry and replace with timber frame and pressed sheet
5. Back block damaged plaster, repair and match paint
6. Remove roof sheet and fascia. Laminate existing purlins and fascia frame to 'Re-level'. Install cover strips and intersection of the masonry and eaves/ceilings
7. Remove roof sheet, laminate existing purlins to increase roof pitch to >2 degrees
8. Install new 'Solar Span' roof with new CB fascias and new CB gutters
9. Connect new and existing DP's clean spoon drain
10. Replace RCP with spoon drain (excluded from this contract)
11. New KDHD (Match existing) 3 way ramp < 1 IN10
12. Remove existing doors and replace with dual leaf solid core (painted) doors with 3-SS hinges and new door furniture (not lockable from inside) with escape bar inside and lever handle located compliant with AS-1428
13. Fit new Galv steel plates and Mortice lock (not lockable from inside) with lever handles or lockwood 001 with lever handle located compliant to BCA & AS-1428.
14. Fit new NBC compliant Exit sign with wiring to switchboard. The circuit is to be connected to an approved protection device labelled "Warning Switching Off Will Activate Emergency Lights"
15. Prepare and apply for building permits with Council's Planning Department
16. Electrical Works (Refer to attached Scope - Electrical Works)
