Tender Description
The successful contractor will be required to manage users of the site including vetting of materials entering the site and separating materials into various recoverable items and/or disposal to waste skips. This includes collecting fees and charging users for services where appropriate. A resale shop is a key component of the service to be delivered and the contractor is expected to recover materials for sale and manage the sale process.
Garden Organics are to be managed by the contractor so as to ensure the material is maintained in windrows, regularly turned and kept in a neat and tidy condition. Removal of contamination from garden organics is an expectation.
The contractor will receive 25% of the value of scrap steel removed from the waste stream and deposited into the scrap metal pile.
