Tender Description
North East Water owns, operates and maintains the ‘Sydney Weir’. The weir’s present configuration carries high Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks. These are primarily related to activities requiring manual handling whilst working over the waterway of the Ovens River.
North East Water has prepared a preliminary design to facilitate the construction of weir modifications to mitigate these risks. North East Water now seeks highly experienced Civil Contractors with experience working on waterways for the construction of the proposed modification works.
